Neurodivergence Support Therapy in Chicago
Want to talk neurodivergence? Let’s get to it.
As a small practice founded and run by neurodivergent clinicians and allies, Constellations understands how difficult it can be to navigate systems and expectations that weren’t designed with neurodivergent minds in mind. Many people come to therapy after years of feeling misunderstood, pressured to mask, or told that the way they think or process the world is “too much” or “not enough.” At Constellations, we aim to create a space where your brain is not something to fix, but something to understand. Our clinicians combine lived experience with professional training to offer therapy that is curious, flexible, and grounded in respect for the many ways people think, learn, communicate, and move through the world.
Our Approach

Understanding Your Brain
Many people come to therapy after years of feeling like they don’t fit in, masking who they are, or struggling to keep up with expectations that never accounted for their neurodivergent needs. Our approach starts with the belief that your brain isn’t “broken” and the understanding that our brains work in ways that are unique and that’s okay. Therapy gives you the chance to understand your patterns, identify your strengths, and explore what truly works for you.

The World
Life is full of systems, rules, and expectations that aren’t designed for neurodivergent brains. From workplaces that misunderstand ADHD to schools that don’t accommodate your needs, the world can feel exhausting. We can help you navigate all of this “nonsense” without losing yourself. We’ll help you develop strategies, set boundaries, and approach challenges in ways that reduce stress, increase resilience, and protect your energy.
-

Our Space
We create a space where masking, overcompensating, and explaining yourself is optional. At Constellation, you don’t have to pretend your brain works differently than it does. This is a place where neurodivergent ways of thinking, learning, processing, and feeling are honored and understood. Our goal is to reduce shame, stress, and the pressure to conform to neurotypical expectations.
-

Community + Connection
We know that isolation is a common experience for neurodivergent people. Many clients have spent years trying to adapt to neurotypical systems or feeling unseen in social and professional spaces. Therapy with us emphasizes connection, both with yourself and the people who matter in your life. You’ll have a space to explore relationships, communication, and social navigation while feeling understood, validated, and supported.
